ZONING  DEPARTMENT

West  Baden  Zoning  Department:

The Zoning Department of West Baden Springs Town Hall oversees land use regulations, property development, floodplain management, mobile home placement, junkyard restrictions, and historic preservation. Their authority comes from the town’s Title 12 Zoning Ordinance, which guides development to protect public safety, property values, and community character.

What  Zoning  Means  for  West  Baden  Springs

Zoning might sound technical, but at its heart, it’s about keeping West Baden Springs safe, welcoming, and true to its character. The zoning team works to make sure new projects — whether it’s a home addition, a business expansion, or a community improvement — fit the town’s vision and don’t put people or property at risk. By guiding where and how development happens, they help protect neighborhoods from flooding, preserve the charm of historic areas, and keep property values strong.
