West Baden Street Department:
The street department's mission is to maintain and improve the city's infrastructure, ensuring safe and convenient travel for residents and visitors. This includes tasks like street and alley maintenance, pothole repair, snow removal, street sweeping, and tree maintenance
Street Department Core Responsibilities:

Road Maintenance: This includes patching potholes, sealing cracks, resurfacing streets, and ensuring the proper placement of road markings.

Alley Maintenance: Keeping alleys clear of debris, accessible for utilities, and properly maintained.

Sidewalk Maintenance: Ensuring sidewalks are safe and accessible for pedestrians.

Snow Removal and Ice Control: Clearing roads and streets of snow and ice during the winter months.

Street Sweeping and Cleaning: Removing debris, litter, and other contaminants from streets and sidewalks.

Traffic Control: Ensuring proper signage, traffic signals, and other infrastructure to facilitate smooth traffic flow.

Tree Maintenance: Pruning, planting, and removing trees to maintain a healthy and visually appealing streetscape.
